Meet UUendy

UUendy or Wendy from UUendysCraftyCorner is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 7pm Etsy time. Today's attack is the last one for 2011! And while we will be sad to see the end of the sneak attacks for this year, we are looking forward to lots of fun and brand new Etsy shop owners to surprise in 2012. We hope you will join in the fun.

Wendy makes the neatest earrings - some for play, some for us adults! And her price always includes free shipping for items mailed in the US. How can you beat that? Great gift items, get them in time for Christmas, and get something for yourself too.

I went to Wendy's shop this morning to see what kinds of Holiday jewelery she has to offer. I couldn't decide which ones to show you, so I decided to show you several.

There are many more to choose from - get yours now! And then come and join us in our Sneak Attack thread as we count down the hours to some surprised Etsy shops.

Meet Kristen and Lisa

Are you ready for great Christmas gift ideas? Well, you are sure to find some more today, when we get ready for our Sneak Attack that starts at 6pm Etsy time.

And we have another pair of co-sponsors, one a 'veteran' sponsor - Lisa from Bead Soul and a newby - Kristen from K5Art

I asked Kristen how she came to be a sneak attack member.
My store was a victim last month and what an awesome feeling to log in to my Etsy account and see all the fav's, convo's, and sales! It really encouraged me and made me feel great so I wanted to help do that to others too.

You will find that while not everyone in the sneak attack team has been a 'victim' our wanting to help others brought us together!

Kristen has a wide variety of 'goodies' for you to see in her shop - but as I'm obsessed with earrings - picked these out for you to see :D Love the way she uses scrabble tiles to make them!

Lisa has sponsored many sneak attacks. And we can always count on wonderful 'victims' to shop from! As I was browsing through Lisa's shop this morning, I found this wonderful bracelet - I'll bet you know someone who would love to have this come Christmas morning...

After you pick out what YOU want from these shops, come on over to our Sneak Attack thread to find out more about our upcoming 'victims'!

WorldOfMine Attacks From Down Under!
With the Help of Stockannette!

Thursday, December 8, 2011

Meet Crystal & Annette

I love it when we have new members sponsoring a Sneak Attack. And love it even more when we have 'veteran' sponsors helping out! Our co-sponsors today, for the Sneak Attack at 6pm Etsy time, are Crystal of World of Mine, and Annette of Stock Annette - two wonderful sneak attack members who love helping new Etsy shops get a great start!

I recently asked Crystal how she came up with her Etsy name.
World Of Mine just came to me, my kids are my world, my amigurumi is for them, so this is the weird, cute, whacky world of mine! Plus, every time i make a new critter i have a line of kids asking 'mine?'. Then a few arguments over who's it is, so i just tell them they're ALL MINE!!

And yes, Crystal makes Amigurumi patterns as well as the actual amigurumi to delight any child. Like this one:

How did Annette come up with her shop name:
What does "Stockannette" mean? There is a stitch in knitting called "stockinette." Since my name is Annette and I knit every day, Stockannette became the name of my Etsy shop!

Annette is one of our favorite knitters and she loves making hats for babies and toddlers. Here's one of her latest creations - don't you just love it!

Come on over to our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to surprise some 'victims' at 6pm today!

The Perfect Painting of A Sneak Attack!

Meet Ros

Our wonderful Captain, Ros from Painted Memories by Ros, is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 6pm, Etsy time.

Besides being our captain, Ros works on our blog, updating and posting. She does a great job! She also loves to help promote other Etsy shops, whether they are new or well established. And, Ros is a wonderful artist and photographer. I love all the cards and prints that she has made from her art work and photographs. I know you will too!

One of my favorite paintings that she has used for a greeting card is this deer - so realistic, you can almost see it breathing in the cold air.

There are so many other paintings and photographs that you will enjoy as you browse through Ros' shop. And then come have fun with us in our Sneak Attack thread, as we get ready to meet and greet some new Etsy shops and see THEIR creations!

Slip your business card in on one side, and write your note on the other. Get yours now - as Happy is expecting a little bundle soon - and might be a little busy. D:

Meet Engel

One of our Handmade Movement members, who loves to travel around the world, is sponsoring our sneak attack today, at 7pm. Linda, who is the owner of Engelfelt, will bring her latest discoveries - new Etsy shops - and all the lovely items that those shop owners create.

A wonderful creator herself, of goodies that are felted, crocheted and knitted, Linda provides items to wear, use or give as gifts.

As many of us, with busy lives know, you have to find time to create. I asked Linda when she does her crocheting and knitting.
Whenever I am sitting, whether it be in the car , or in front of the tv, or in my back yard, I have something in my hands. I cannot just sit and do nothing! I know that many of us can relate to that!

And look at what Linda made while she was sitting :D

There are so many things to see in Linda's shop, you are sure to find your favorite! Then come share the fun with us at our Sneak Attack thread, as we get ready to meet Linda's latest victims!

Meet Castle

Have you tried handmade soap yet? It's wonderful. Doesn't leave your skin dry like commercial soaps, and depending on the scent used, each one smells delightful as you are lathering up!

One of our Handmade Movement/Sneak Attack members is Beth from Castle Co, who is sponsoring today's Sneak Attack at 5pm Etsy time.

Beth has been making handmade soap for about 3 years now.
I enjoy making soap and am currently creating other recipes. Curing time is between 4-8 weeks and scents/appearance change during that time. It's interesting to see the end result since there were some batches I didn't think started off very well, but surprised me as time went by.

You will find many delicious sounding soaps (please don't eat) that will make your shower and bath time, heavenly! Don't care for scented soap? Here's one that is unscented and still that handmade goodness!

Take the time to see what scented or unscented soap you would love to try! Then come chat with us during the day as we get ready to surprise some new Etsy shops during our Sneak Attack!

Meet Bead & Sandi

Don't you just love it when two members of the Sneak Attack team, co-sponsor an attack? You can do it too - just let us know you are interested in sponsoring and we'll 'team' you up with one of our 'veteran' sneakers!

Today's sneak attack, at 4pm, Etsy time, is being sponsored by Lisa from Beadsoul and Sandi from Sandi's Stash Shop

Lisa does something special for her customers: All items come ready for gift giving in a lovely gift box and ribbon- complimentary, of course! Lisa also have black velvet drawstring bags; perfect for guitar picks!

I was browsing through Lisa's shop to find something unusual to show you - boy did I find one. This pendant of a soaring bird is so gorgeous - you just have to have it!

Sandi's shop is all about stash - whether it's yarn, fabric, or really unique items. Check out this little storage container - birdhouses, little drawers, and a place to put a roll of paper towels. It can hang on the wall or sit on a table - so convenient!

Be sure to visit our sponsors' shops and see all the goodies. Then come chat with us today, at our Sneak Attack thread, as we get ready to meet the 'victims' at 4pm!

Meet Summer

One of our members, Summer from SummerWilson8 is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 5pm Etsy time.

Have you met Summer yet? She is a dance teacher and loves sharing her passion for dance.

I asked Summer what she does to relax:
. I dance to relax. I also like to garden and especially to craft. I am always thinking of new things to create.

Don't let Summer's name make you think that all she creates has to do with the summer season. (And by the way, I LOVE her name). She creates jewelry for every season. Now that we are fully into fall - you will really appreciate this fall necklace, which you can wear with almost everything!

Find your favorite season at Summer's shop and then come join us for our sneak attack at 5pm. You will be glad you did!
